Meet Tillmon
Our founder, Lee Tillmon, believes that strong communication and a positive work culture are essential in any workplace. With over 12 years of experience as a corporate leader, he shares his knowledge and expertise with aspiring leaders through training courses and consultations.
For 20 years, Lee has been providing public speaking services to share his values with business leaders. He possesses a wide leadership skill set, which proved vital to his 12-year service in the U.S. Air Force.
More About Tillmon
Growing up in urban Cincinnati, Ohio, Tillmon chose to serve the country as a member of The United States Air Force, beginning his career as an explosive specialist. During the Desert Storm Theater he was awarded the Commendation Medal by becoming and qualifying as Recruiter and winning the Air Force’s Gold watch award as a top recruiter. Tillmon went on to become certified in several personal development programs; Myers-Briggs, (Psychological Type), 7 Habits of highly effective people, Osha Certification, Six-Sigma and is published in the book “Commitment, If you build it… Results will come” by ADL Associates. He went to earn Martial Arts degrees, (Kuk-sool- won during his tour in Korea and Comba Tai in the Philippines).Then Southwest Airlines recognized Tillmon’s talents of humor and charisma. First by selecting him to hold the position of a Flight Attendant then by positioning him as a leadership trainer/facilitator at the company’s renowned “University for People”.
During his twelve years at Southwest Airlines, Lee was instrumental in developing and delivering Positively Outrageous Service (POS), along with course materials used to cultivate and maintain the “Leadership and Southwest Spirit” –one of the world’s best-known business cultures. Through his experiences as a leader, leadership trainer, and working on the front line, Tillmon brings level insight to every audience. He inspires all to use their endowment of creativity that best suits their situation. And it’s because of his invigorating style; tillmon became a sought after speaker at the University.
